get your kid done with that before he gets to college, so he doesn't drop out to play it (like I did).

    Nope

After maybe three or four levels, it started moving too quickly. The villains in that game reminded me a lot of the guys from Big Trouble in Little China and the characters could jump so high -- just a very cool game.

  • Some classics I can think of off the top of my noggin...

    NES:
    Maniac Mansion
    Dr. Mario
    Contra
    Castlevania 1, 2, 3
    Gun.Smoke
    RBI Baseball
    Deja Vu
    Metal Gear
    Dragon Warrior
    Mega Man 1, 2, 3

    SNES:
Zelda: A Link to the Past
    Street Fighter 2 - Turbo
    Earthbound
    Super Mario World
Secret of Mana (best played with a buddy)
    Super Metroid
Final Fantasy 2, 3 (IE 4 and 6 in Japan)

Still have my snes, bought a new nes a few years ago. Cosign on all the classics mentioned. Super Mario Bros 3 has to be the best game on the nes. I always liked Kid Icarus too.

And here, a very funny review of my LEAST favorite nes title:

    Dragons Lair
