A complete scam. There is no benefit whatsoever from the heavier vinyl. Sure it feels nice (I guess), but 150g is plenty.In my experience, which is considerable, 180g is more likely to warp and in some cases is poor quality vinyl, as well.When I mentioned my feelings to engineers at two different pressing plants they agreed.I know TRI records are really nice, but they would sound just as good at 150g and would be cheaper.Just an observation.
