    yes, saw this last year at hot docs fest in Toronto. Director and band were in the house, a nice feel good story....

    I haven't seen this, but there's a great interview in the new issue of TapeOp with recording engineer Chris Tsangarides about it.

    saw it in the theater last year and Anvil played live after the movie in the theater (bands sound kick ass in a movie theater by the way, should happen more often)...best $10 spent last year.

    rented the dvd a couple of weeks ago, an awesome but kind of sad story.

    it was a good doc.

    this one is a few years old but it has a similarly depressing theme...did you guys like this one?





    the final scene at the end when he has a tantrum in the stairwell is one of the most memorable and revealing things i have ever seen in a documentary.
