And the Carpe Diems which is the most I've spent on a shoe in a while. Well worth it though. These aren't gonna face the same fate as my other basketball sneaks. Footlocker deadstock related.
I didn't go to the LA Beat Swap, but I "found" myself at the Los Angeles Arboretum (pictures below) and Verocai show this weekend. The only records I found this week were Irakere S/T on Columbia, Songs Of Metric Man and a mono Herbie Mann "The Wailing Dervishes" Live ft. Rufus Harley (HM really had a knack for releasing records with memorable covers, for better or for worse),
the 12s are: The Reddings - Hand Dance Empress - Dyin' To Be Dancin Red Hot Stuff - Magic Lady (turd) Snoman - Money (Get paid) (pretty dope random hip-hop 12 from atlanta)
45s Klique - Honey / Flashback (wicked boogie cut) Eleventh Hour - Hollywood Hot the others aren't worth mentioning since they suck
Super happy about the Axelrod though.... the Couturier LP is kind of crazy too. Some solid dub.. 'Confrontation' is pretty fiah...as well as the others.
