Soundtrack to north Japan?

Just bought train tickets that allow me to travel as much as I'd like for 5 days (only on local trains though, not express) and the plan is to tour north Japan (Tohoku region). I am visiting a sake brewery, checking out a Ken Domon photography museum, visiting onsen (hot spring) and doing some scenic photography on the way using this film camera that I've just started using.Right now I am packing all the shit I need, but also I want to jam as much music as possible on my 4gb mp3 player. Anyone have any recommendations on mixes, albums, singles, what-have-yous that could be the soundtrack to this kind of excursion?
