Michael Steele bows down to Rush?(WTF related)

Anybody see the interview with Michael Steele on DL Hughley's show on CNN? I thought it was funny how he commented that Rush Limbaugh is an entertainer and that his comments are incendiary and ugly, and then he apologized later for making that statement(he was thinking something else and it came out wrong or whatever). When i watched the interview thought, it seemed to me like he meant exactly what he said, maybe he changes his tune for different audiences but did he think he wouldn't get pressure for that from his own party?
