    I've been paying close attention for the past couple months even though my bracket's been done for a while. I had Marc Johnson taking it all and Donovan in the semis. Been pullin for Fairfax ever since MJ lost though. Koston and Carroll was a fun one too.

    I haven't checked the latest battles yet. Those games are inspirational and discouraging?

    it's just so great to see insta-footage of The Dudes. MC had it going in this one from the losers bracket...I fan out on the OG Girl dudes; not embarrassed to say it.

    also: I cannot believe anyone on earth can consistently do these tricks...switch bigflip? Some of the crazy shit like the nollie 360s, with flips? Insanity. And, they do some of this stuff so huge, and so clean. I love it.

    I'm happy that the finals have two dudes who just have outrageous pop.

    It's like a scratch battle with "ahh." So completely simple and stupid and esoteric and yet: I can relate. Every kid's sat there on flatground practicing (some of) these tricks all day, and it's just so fun to watch. Loving it.

    By the way: I think Berra's delaying the final matches to get back at The Internet, which has it out for Scientology...

    Berra definitely is, though. I remember it when he was married to the retarded Juliette Lewis, in some sort of "what's crazier?" mind experiment.

    I'm cool with it. I don't look to skateboarders for life guidance or religion choices (anymore LOL), so I'm content to just watch the craziest game of s-k-a-t-e ever.

    I'd say that butteryass Donovan is more embarrassing than any Scientology connect.
