GP3 mono fix?

I need to do some recording with my GP3, but don't really want it in mono. What are people using as a fix for this? will a mono splitter give me decent sound? Any advice much appreciated.

    this will do the trick, but if you're worried about sound quality, why are you recording w/ a GP3?
