They almost always show the wax on the late night talk shows now, although I suspect often it's just a 12" album flat. It just looks silly when the host is holding up a CD.

props to Scratch for doing tasteful cuts on a talk show. Most rap/hip-hop acts that make it on Leno/Letterman/Conan end up scratching "sherrrrr" or something over the entire song. This was nice and added to the song.
