Any fans here? I'm looking for some recommendations.I've liked Francoise Hardy for a while and have been meaning to check out some Brigitte for a while. It looks like she had a lot of releases covering a lot of styles, I don't know really where to start! If anyone can school me a bit it would be much appreciated.Cheers, Rob

  • She??s great!! recorded some stuff with the Art Ensemble of Chicago. I only have her 7" called "Brigitte" and its dope! kinda female version of Gainsburg...

  • yeah, "brigitte" is a nice song. she made two albums with Areski also, one being "l'incendie" along with her first album titled "Brigitte" that are my favorites.

  • I like this one

All her records on Saravah are pretty worthwhile.

She's more out there, experimental, than Francoise Hardy. So if you're expecting french female crooning you may be surprised pleasantly or not.
