Possible MPC killer?? It looks pretty bananas feature wise and it would be great for tracking on a computer. You wouldn't have to mess around with importing and exporting your stuff back and forth to your sampler, It's all integrated. My only concern is the feel of it and how the groove/ swing is like. If it can dupe the MPC 3000/ 60 I'd definitely pick this up.

  • A well known producer, who is working at my friends studio in Detroit, had one of these. While I didn't get to use the software, I was able to feel it out / touch it / etc. My biggest concern with it was how cheaply made it was/looked -- like the MPD24, but even worse. I also was not feeling the pads on it. It does, however, get bonus points for good design.

Judging by dudes continued use of the MPC and MiKo, I'd say he wasn't feeling it all too much either.

Edit: I wanted to add that I'm a pretty big fan of NI in general, so I have high hopes for it.
