That's re-ish, aka knife to ear.

  • its not so bad. I have enjoyed the reish for a few years now. Its not as good as the OG... but to call it a turd is just stupid.

You know whats a real turd... is the recent Herbie Hancock - Headhunters vinyl... that shit is attrocious compared to the origonal.

Why would you spend $10 on a reissue of something that you can get in OG form for $5?

In the moment after just seeing the front cover, I was all
"OMG HOMEMADE PSYCH-FOLK MASTERPIECE PHASING FUZZ RAER"

but was pretty much ready to just put it back when I saw the nun
on the back, and all her Sisters listed as the singers & musicians:

But I finally decided to risk the dollar since there was a whole band listed:

... but I should have saved my buck, it was a total terd.

Really. Doesn't make hoez dance at all. only good thing about it is that has a luda sample, besides that total waste of space.

the hood doesn't ride for it neither

Not a bad record if it wasn't for horribly bad singing.

Gotta love the label artwork though:

haha, for a second I thought that song was called
"Superman 3, Are You Sure" which would have been an
    awesome name for a song.

Last year I was digging in Albany, NY and picked up that record's evil twin. I'd have to go dig it up in my record room to get the exact title, but it had the same kind of facemelt cover, with the same exact kind of turdmelt back cover, wherein it was revealed that what I had was a church/folk group of middle aged, horn-rimmed, bake-sale ladies. It was 50 cents so I bought it for laughs.

But there was that split-second "they're gonna love this on the Strut" moment...

Also-ran psychedelia from Canada that I just bought the CD reissue of. It almost gets good on certain songs, but then some really poppy vocal arrangement or wimpy horn section gets in the way. Sounds like incidental music on some late-'60s sitcom where the swinging singles go to a nightclub. Forgettable.
