NM should be worth a little, I'm scared of VG, is that your grading?

Blues Magoos - Electric is always a good $10-$20 LP if clean, I'm going with $10 these days.

Comic Book insert might bring it as high as $25

Ah yes, I forgot about that...don't think I ever found one with the insert.

Hammer - Hammer [1970; San Francisco; rare prog rock; samples; break; saw-cut corner; in shrink; minor lip warp; 2 light surface scratches on side 1; VG]

$15-$20 if NM, probably only $10 at best in that shape[/b]

thanks dudes. thought I had seen The Paupers and Hammer go for much more

yeah, these are my conservative gradings.

I dunno if it makes any difference, but the Lincoln Street Exit is the retail issue... I had mainly seen past sales of the promo

Gotta disagree.......copies have gone on ebay since '07 for $333, $356 and $415

    $200 should be low end.

Wow, a $350 average seems high for that record - those recent eBay
listings don't show on Popsike, which has recent auctions more in
the $100-$250 range. Either way, I guess that my estimate was low
but I do feel like a few years ago this was more like a $100 record
    at best ... ?

Rock, thats just the Strut "talk everybody elses records down factor" in effect! Every time i see a price czech answer its always lower than what ive personally ever seen (if ive seen it). (But maybe its just me and i never see the bargains/fair prices).

Hey man, I give honest answers! I wasn't trying to lowball the dude ... jeez!

Rock: yeah, I didn't search for "st" (I forget that now you can search for
2-letter words, you used to be unable to) ... so I missed out. Apparently
listing it as Lincoln "St" instead of "Street" guarantees an extra $150

dude i know, i know! haha.. sorry..
its just a trend ive noticed in general over the last 3-4 years on the strut - like i said, maybe its just me, never seeing the right prices out there!

haha, yeah, alot of it may be location. I mean, the Blues Magoos is
actually a very common record around here (although the insert is hard
to find, sort of) but I suppose elsewhere it may not be and stores could
get $40 for it or something ... same with the Paupers. I had "back room
access" at a local store and dude had like 10 copies each of "Electric
Comic Book" and "Psychedelic Lollipop" on his overstock shelf!

yeah, the main reason I asked about the Blues Magoos was cause it had the insert, but it also had the cut-out hole through the whole damn thing (cover, label, comic insert).

my friend just sold the Lincoln Street Exit for $150 and it was in slightly worse shape plus it was the promo (again, not sure if that makes any difference)

I appreciate all the help guys

  • ok, someone send me that damn comic book, its been missing in every copy ive ever found! will trade raerz
