  • I've been dj'ing with these for the last year and have no complaints. They're not as bulky as the other MDR's. I got them at Circuit City for $90 but you can definitely find them online for significantly less.

    I use the classic Sony MDR-V6 and love them. I'm sure you can find them for about $60 if you look a little.

    Cosine on on the Sonys that Button posted, as well as the Grados. Only problem with the Grados is that they are open back, so you get zero isoaltion. I really enjoy Sennheiser headphones, and their CX line of in ear heaadphones perform really well for the pricepoint.
