Oh, I need to hear this. Not to get all Dick Ryder here, but I am a fan - if I had sufficient money to do something as insane as starting my own record label, I'd happily give Day a hefty-bag full of cash and say, "how about some of that 21st Century Mizell Brothers shit you're so good at?" His Erykah Badu remix was a summer staple for me, and will probably remain so for quite some time, and that Dilla/Main Source blend is top-drawer as well.b, 21b, 21Appreciated over here, no doubt.
b, 21I wanna hear his PUTS remix mentioned in another thread.b, 21b, 21And I want to hear a Credit Is OVERdue (pt2) mix.b, 21b, 21And some more remixes of oldskool classics along the lines of his "What Planet/Hard To Tell" stuff.b, 21b, 21Please sir. Can I have some More?
he's a jerk.b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21b, 21just kidding. I lurv him. His productions are well thought out and fine tuned. He doesn't miss any little details.b, 21b, 21You can hear a snippet of the Marvin Gaye 7 inch over at Labcabin.

What's to say? His records have been must-cops since What Planet, What Station, and he comes across as a smart, compassionate guy with a good sense of humor and his head squarely centered on his shoulders. Dude's a champ.b, 21b, 21b, 21 img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beerbang.gif" alt="" 21

font class="post"1b, 21b, 21Wow.b, 21b, 21Seriously, when I think of some of the swill that found its way onto those extremely spotty Motown remix project albums, this is no joke. Straight on the "must cop" list.
