record warp speed

Hey...my record collection is my basement where my furnance is..it gets pretty hot down there in certain spots and was wondering if anyone knows how hot is to hot for the records to make them warp? I have a fan trying to blow the heat away from the records but don't know if this actually works...Also I hear temp. fluctuation is bad too but how much fluctuation is too much? Anyone else have this problem? Thanks!
