Iphoto Alternative

I hate Iphoto with a passion.. folders all over the place, duplicates, it's horrible.b, 21b, 21What's a good alternative to manage a big ass photo library?

    I use Aperture, which I think is great (although not perfect). But you'll have to fork out $200 for it...

    F-Spot kills iPhoto if you ask me. You'll need to install the mono project on OSX to get a Gnome app to run/look proper. I haven't tried it via mono, since I have a full on Linux install on my Macbook. I do have deluge running via Mono and it works fine, so I'm imagining that F-Spot will too.
