Your ideal wooden record crate

A carpenter buddy and I just got a hold of some old red pine and other salvagable wood types. We are going to build some stackable crates with removable dowel pins on the sides, top, and bottom for smooth stacking and assembly. I can't find an image of the record crate that Labcabin sold that had an angle cut at top, which is the design we are going for. That said once I've got one built, is anyone interested? do it!b, 21b, 21I've got a bunch weird wooden boxes I've bought over the years for holding records. The coolest ones are pretty home made looking and old. Never saw t urntablelab ones. But stackable ones would be super nice. Will be creating a KD (knock down) 12" and 45 style box so it can be shipped and moved. img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" 21 Thinking of making the two 45 boxes that can be merged to fit neatly on a 12" box for seamless design. Should have one made up by this weekend. My dude is excited about this. Look forward for updates.

Maybe not practical, but I think some 45's would fit in the smaller spaces...
