Repairs

I've never taken my technics in for repairs and they're both due for some work. I was geeked to find a place about an hour away that was known for fixing turntables (the turntable factory) only to find out they might not be in business. Anybody ever ship their tt's out to get fixed? or had luck finding local repair dudes. They need some parts replaced, things re-wired, maybe even shit soldered- like real work and I dont really have the confidence to do it myself. I'm in Georgia.
