I suck at these things. Installed it onto my wife's computer because my OS is old and incompatible. Last night I tried charging it on my computer, and when it finished charging, I took it off and all the music was deleted. So I took it to the other computer and did the restore. I tried inputing songs from the library into the ipod, but I can no longer drag and drop, nor can I manipulate the songs in the ipod playlists. I think it had something to do with the sync function. But really I don't know what I'm doing.b, 21b, 21 not me

Turn of music syncing GV. Its the dumbest feature and probably the number one reason peoples ipods get wiped; if its set to sync music, and you plug it into a computer with no music in the library, it will "sync" your ipod, so now you have an empty library too. Its also the only reason I've ever not been able to move music from the library to the ipod inside itunes..

  • I'll try that tonight, thanks duder
