    I was actually just thinking about figuring this out, for insurance purposes. Anyone else got their pieces protected? b, 21b, 21I could probably buy like a '00 Volkswagen with mine. And people got their VWs insured so...

    less than i paid for it! cuz if it had to sell as a lot.... ooof, i would take a bath i am sure. this is true for everyone actually.... except those who get the vast majority of their records for well under market value. (and granted - if theres anywhere where thats happening its right here on the strut) b, 21b, 21myself, for every record i score on, theres one i pay fair retail for. and that doesnt add up to "profit" for me, just imaginary fun "value".

For example, with rarer stuff, maybe you scored a $100ish piece on ebay for $90, but another might not pop up for a year. To easily get a replacement copy, you would have to put up a want ad and offer something higher. Like in the $150 range.

    couple years back i calculated it and i think it was something like 15 K. must keep in mind anything over $150 in it, i have sold or most likely will sell in the near future.

But.... it's pretty out of date, there are a lot of records in there that I probably couldn't find again even if I had 100X the amount I paid for them. It's a hard thing to gauge.
