Is it wrong to kill people?

Like let's say dude was going to rob your house and you were uncertain that the legally owned firearm you possess would kill or simply wound this person. Would you still bust?b, 21b, 21What if someone was going to kill you?

    I don't think you should shoot a guy in the back when you catch him robing you, but if he lunges, blast him. You don't know if he's going to kill you at that point, but it's highly possible. It happens all the time.b, 21b, 21Proving it was self defense may be harder, especially if you're a person of color. b, 21b, 21I don't take this lightly. Even in self defense, killing someone can be very traumatic.

    Planting a knife on the dude may be going a bit far and will probably only hurt your case, but the second option seems like a legitimate way to document your conduct. Truth of the matter is, if an intruder breaks into your humble abode and you honestly feel threatened, you could bust caps without being charged in the first place.
