    b, 21b, 21It's funny, the UK "envelope" style mailer always comes up in discussions on bad packaging. I've never had any problems with it (*knocks on wood*), but I def can see its shortcomings when faced with long travels and careless handling.b, 21b, 21I recently received 2 records from Ubiquity Records in the U.S. that were really badly packaged.b, 21They had put the two records in one of those standard BagsUnlimited-style cardboard mailers which are usually OK. The thing is, they had just put the records in the mailer, folded the flaps along the outermost perforations (what you'd do if you were packing it with 6+ records), put no filling whatsoever inside, and just a strip of tape along the middle to hold it together. b, 21b, 21The result: the mailer had been squashed flat and the records were sliding around inside with the edges peeking out through a big oval opening in every corner. Luckily, the records were fine. And I would have been way more irate if it was a 2nd hand raer.
