I know, I wasn't sure about the premise, but the end result is great.b, 21b, 21From memory, is the song following the structure of the Supreme's track more cloesly than with the ELO (which is familiar but I need to hear og again)?b, 21b, 21Vinyl would be quite nice.
It started just as the piano intro to Evil Woman, and continued in that vein with La Ross' vocals. I thought that would be the end of it, then halfway through Mik Kaminsky and co started weighing in with the pop symphonic thing, then that searingly beautiful breakdown clinched it.b, 21Somehow MJ got involved and by then it was pure fire.b, 21b, 21Supremes 2, Elo 2; score draw
It shouldn't be that hard to mash up ELO w/ something else. Jeff Lynne routinely lifted stuff from other songs for his own, i.e. the Four Tops' track "I'll Turn To Stone" and ELO's song, uh, "Turn to Stone."

b, 21b, 21the whole mash up scene is based on the fact that everybody in pop music recycles chord progressions. And lol at the Four Tops being that original creative source.
