Taping Jackets??

to tape or not to tape? I found an awesome piece and the vinyl is MINT and the jacket is great besides for the fact the bottom corner is split a little!b, 21b, 21do i leave it as is for sale? or do i tape it with clear tape? what is the right move. leaving it will rip it further as it is handled but taping it might make buyers cringe?
