Can someone who has a rane 57 try this?b, 21Open up Microwave on your computer, pick a file that you want to scratch....then...On the SAME COMPUTER...b,121Open up pro tools(or the daw of your choice), arm an audio track, then record the scratches in the daw. b, 21b, 21b, 21If I can do that with this mixer, I'm sold.(well when i get the money that is.) Maybe I should add that what I plan to do is run the audio out cable from the 57 into my pro tools soundcard...

yeah man, you can record audio from your left or right deck, mic or mix. What I have done in the past is record a drum loop, load it to a deck, loop it, cut a bassline over that, record it, load it, loop it and so on... Hope this helps...

That Vestax looks like it just has effects sends, which is cool, but thats gotta be prefader right? Always thought it would be cool to record a mix in pro tools with a separate stereo track for each deck, for later fine tuning. Thats what the Rane can do, right?

font class="post"1b,121b, 21To my knowledge, this is the feature that Rane has never been able to make happen due their use of USB1.
