Longtime lurker, infrequent poaster.b,121b,121I'm going to see Nikka Costa this weekend, and was wondering if anyone has seen her live or has picked up her latest album. I have Everybody Got Their Something and a promo single from can'tneverdidnothin'. For me, an amazing artist who is virtually unknown in North America.     I never was into Nikka Costa, until I recently heard her cover of Funkier than a mosquito's tweeter. It almost makes me not want to cover that song with my band anymore. b,121b,121- spidey

    She's really talented. "Like A Feather" used to work really well in the club, and I've given the new album a little burn but need to give it some more play at the cribbo. But yeah, I would expect her to have a good live show for some reason.

    font class="post"1b,121b, 21Good critique. The sequencing on the album is suspect. b,121b,121She does have a more varied steez on this compared to her last 2 LPs.b,121b, 21Blues/Funk/Rock/Soul/Pop/etc...the usual but a little more compartmentalized.
