    With a 50% divorce rate in this country how can anyone claim, with a straight face, that they're trying to preserve the institution of marriage. The intuition of marriage died a long long time ago. This is just straight up bigotry.

    i took my annual trip to the mall early this weekend. i went to AMERICANA[/b] in glendale which is the grove lite or like a disney version of a mall. anyways, the yes on prop 8 dudes were standing on the corner with their signs and stuff so i went over to them to get some of that literature. did u know that 4 SAN FRANCISCO JUDGES ENDORSE PROP 8? also one of their key selling points is that YOUR KIDS WILL BE FORCED TO LEARN ABOUT GAY MARRIAGE IN SCHOOL. it seemed kinda sad and kinda funny.

    Once again, the conservative spinmeisters have been able to mischaracterize the issue into one involving "religious freedom" and children's education. The commercials they're running are scary - saying schitt like voting no on 8 will mean churchs will lose their tax exemption status for not performing gay ceremonies and gay marriage will be taught in schools. b,121b,121Unfortuately, the gay homies tell me that there's a strong possibility this fusked up initiative will pass.

    My next door neighbor has a Yes on 8 sign on his front lawn. He's a pastor so I guess that makes sense. I don't wanna get into it with him because he's never complained about any of the wild parties we throw in our backyard... no sense rocking the boat there!

    On my campus some kids where manning a yes on prop 8 booth, that's what caused my thread. I rolled my eyes and muttered "you gotta be f*cking kidding me".b,121b,121b1but I really want to know what Vitamin, Rockadelic, and Harvey C have to say[/b].

    I've been pissing of some conservatives at work because their reasoning for yes on 8 is complete bullshit. They usually end up falling back on some dumb shit about how the magic man in the sky said it wasn't right. That's an argument you tell an 8 year old. this proposition is a shitty f*cking joke.
