Hey Rockwall, 7 of the bands listed in this thread have played at my place in the last few years, most on more than one occasion. And you live one zip code away.

  • Any new disco/modern soul groups artists? The only things that come to mind are Dam-Funk and maybe something like Plant Life.

b,121b,121Man... this 45 kills it. I sold my spare of this last week for a bill.b,121b,121Let's add he Opensouls to this list. if you haven't heard of them, it's probably because they are from New Zealand, and their 45s dissappear with the quickness when they are pressed.

font class="post"1b,121b,121there based in Melbourne. I just heard their cd at a mates house and few tunes on the radio. they got a political slant, and a sexy as female singer. More organic vibe, but lots of soul. I missed them last time they were in sydney but I have heard they are awesome live... they porbably pop up in sydney sometime this summer...b,121b,121b,121 web page

Did anyone mention Speedometer? Their album on Freestyle was pretty strong. There was some certified heaters on there too. Four Flights Up I think it's called.
