I just bought a collection that smells like smoke and stripper's perfume. I can't even stomach the smell. Should I lysol them bitches?b,121b,121b,121

    Put em in the "West Wing" of Soulstrut Manor so you don't have to be near em with a Glade plug in in the room.b,121b,121The particulate matter of the things you smell is on them. You could wipe them with a lightly damp cloth that has some deodorizer on them and then fan em/fan on em dry em.

    i got a record in the mail a few months back that reeked of vick's vapo-rub. (a disco 12", surprisingly not a late 90's rave record)b,121stunk up the place for like a week.

    There is a record/head shop in El Paso called The Headstand. All of their records smell like cheap incense.

    pspsb,121b,121i always find collections of 45s in milk crates that smell funky toob,121this has happened too many timesb,121i guess cause they are in the basement and prone to mildew,flooding,boiler explosions, cat piss ,rat crap,corpses, etc

    There was a spot in Philly that was a tiny storefront, filled with 45s where the owner just sat around smoking cigars all day long. I had to resleeve and clean every thing I got there.

    b,121b,121had a cigar experience 6 months ago too, hit a spot where everything looked the same as usual (rr), except there was this heavy cigar oder hangin over the crates, seemed to come from the records but sorta weird cause i looked through these on the regular and nothing new had arrived... i was about to leave when i noticed four plastic 60's style record shelves that the owner had stuffed in way under the table, had not noticed if it wasnt for the smell, pulled the mafuckers out and sure enough that was where the cigar smell came from, it was really heavy, unfortunately the records in the shelves wasnt, pulled just one outta there, ashtray smelly private mailout joint from a magazine, which i havent been able to either detox or find any info on..b,121b,121

    b,121b,121I once bought some records off a guy and they smelled really srongly of incense. When I mentioned it to him he said 'Better incense than incest'. He had a point.

    there is a shit rock record on either stax or enterprise that you can find here in town quite often called "Patchachouli"(sp?) that was released in 1971 or 72...I guess it was the gimmick to "scent" it like its title...still damn near 40 years down the line the copies of this record STILL reek of patchacouli!
