There are any number of reasons why someone might not have a copy and want one now, whatever the price. b,121b,121As for this auction... this kinda stuff happens all the time. I can't explain the actions of collectros with g's to blow on records cause I'm not one of them.

Suddenly you have more competition than is healthy.b,121b,1212) let's assume I really want this record, and the price near the end is a few hundred bucks. I'm ready with the bid, I've checked popsike, I reckon $1600 will do it. In this situation, if $2075 dude waits til the last minute, he stands a good chance of getting the record.b,121By ramping it high now, I have a 5 day window to look at my expedits, decide I can live without various bits and I flog them, raising an extra $1000.b,121Now my last minute bid can be $2600.
