    The album is hella fresh.

"WLIX" in a hip hop club in LA = game over.

One of Madlibs finest (only fine??) productions.

i got the us press with no title track, to tell the truth its been so long since i've listened to it i can't even recall how the title track sounds!!

  • I distinctly remember hearing DAAM and Shook ones II on a
loud promo sampler spring '95. that was the greatest summer
of hiphop imo. insert "i reminisce" horn intro now

Alright word to y'all: if you don't remember the title track - cop it and peep it. It would have been one of the best on the album if it had made onto the album. It's on the Friday soundtrack. Not a facemelter beat-wise but some of the best all around Liks lyrics.

J-Ro: "I hit so hard the WBC/called and aksed "can the champ come and train wit me?"

Tash: "my fiber-optic lyrics make 'em sound like walki-takies/the poet sips the Moet while y'all crack the old Milwaukess."

And there's a HILARIOUS spoken interlude highlighting the funnier differences between NY and West Coast slang.

Ever see the DAAM commercial? The Liks watching a fine ass girl like "DAAAM" and then she walks into a telephone poll. Funny as hell.

This thread has degenerated into a Coast II Coast appreciation thread.

    Which I'm totally cool with.

The "Enter the Dragon" sample is what did it for me! I remember playing that one out. Also, the track called "Baby Bubbas" was a good one for me.
