There was some kind of a drug bust on Lenox tonight and the corner was crawling with plainclothes white dudes ignoring the fall chill by rocking cargo shorts and New Balances.b,121b,121My question is this: why were all the undercovers dressed like SoulStrut posteurs?

They were only missing beards (against regulations?) and extra smedium "Dilla Lives" t-shirts.

    I can't speculate on this. All the cops that roll through my hood, and there are many, are uniformed and in cruisers. b,121b,121When I do see plainclothes in Chicago, it's the classic look that James mentioned. Like they just changed out of their Bears Zubaz joints.
