Flu Shots

What are your thoughts on flu vaccinations? I avoid them. I think it's a government conspiracy and the people I know who get them, get the flu any way.

    font class="post"1b,121b,121Yeah, I knew some folks last year who got a flu shot, then got sick anyway. There are so many types of flu that it's easy to be vaccinated against the most popular strain and catch another. I think they may be somewhat useful (if effective) for the elderly and young children, but as a heathy adult, it's much more important to just get good nutrition, plenty of exercise, and enough sleep.

    font class="post"1b,121b,121there are tons of strains and one of the reasons to get the flu shot is to limit the power of a number of them. by receiving a flu vacc you are putting the germs in your body so if the flu gets you later on your system should be able to fight of the sickness quicker and lessens the time you arent feeling well.
