Hey, any company that needs to borrow money to keep the business up and running is vulnerable. BILL HEARD went under also there was some info about a few food processing companies are on the edge of bankruptcy.

font class="post"1b,121b,121I think this happened to a local indie bookseller in DC this week. Olsson's Books in Dupont Circle closed it's doors, looks like it was done rather hastily too. I know that many many small businesses like this rely on credit and reciept-advance companies to make payroll. This problem effectively puts those businesses on a razor's edge. If they can't keep a minimum of employees paid, it's lights out.

What about all the small businesses that got credit cards instead of loans over the last 5+ years?b,121b,121Bank of America officially stopped dealing in personal loans on Wednesday of last week. All they do now is offer cards with low intro, then variable after 6-12 months.... sounds familiar? Lots of defaults coming in that area as well.
