font class="post"1b,121b,121i agree......but i live in NY soooo....
for real pizza + a pop is the usual in t.o but i'd rather deal wit a patty in cocoa bread and a solo or grace pop img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headz.gif" alt="" 21
yesterday's lunch of a spring roll, curry tofu on vermicelli and cucumbers doused with soy and lime juice with some fresh bird chilis to munch on while reading about the Francis Bacon retrospective at the Tate was one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. If there was a plane ticket to London under my bowl to see the show, it would have been the best of my life!
font class="post"1b,121b,121lolb,121the diet of my youth! cola champagne!b,121i don't eat meat anymore, but it's just not the same with the veggie patties
There is a Japanese spot by my work that for $7.95 gives you miso soup, salad with an amazing ginger dressing, 4 pieces of California roll, and your main course with a whole heap of grilled veggies. i hit it about twice a week.b,121b,121On another note, what do you guys average1spending per day on lunch? I'm at about $9 a day, but I need to cut that down a bit.
font class="post"1b,121b,121seriously. u cant go wrong.b,121all you fancy nancies with your spring rolls and weird vegetable soups.b,121if i cant walk down the street and eat my lunch at the same time, then I call it dinner.
my lunch I just finished...didnt get the pulled pork, hit another place down the street and got a Fino...salami, cheese and a kick ass onion/black olive tapenade on homemade bread...simple and very killer. It was good..oh yeah my beverage1was a Dr. Brown's Black Cherry... total $6.86b,121img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/thehookup/lunch.jpg"1
font class="post"1b,121b,121Me too, that's a cheap lunch in Midtown Manhattan, unless you go for the two slices and a coke which is now running about $6. You can't get anything descent here for less than $7, sucks. Gotta rock leftovers or Trader Joes microwave joints.

font class="post"1b,121b,121the days i am happy about the SONY BMG cafeteria~b,121b,121buffalo chicken wrap, fries and a drink for $5.95b,121b,121once you leave the building the game is over!!
that tofu/noodles lunch up there ^^^ was $6. if I put something together from the grocery store near my work, I can do it for about $4 and then up to $10 if I really splurge. I have tried and tried...even though I love cooking, I just can't get it together to bring my lunch from home to work everyday.
