What's happening in d.c. this weekend?

I'm coming to d.c. (from detroit) this weekend to visit my girl. I've never been to d.c. before, so I'm wondering if any strutters have any recommendations on food, bars, etc. and also any events happening this weekend.

I'll be playing funk, hip-hop, electro, house, Brazilian, reggae and whatever else I feel like. I'm sure Nitekrawler or Birdman are playing somewhere around town too.b,121My store is called Som Records. I won't be there Saturday (DJing a wedding) but we wil be open.     I'm DJing @ Saint Ex on Friday (14th & T st). It can get hellish (really crowded) post midnight, but early it is a good place to start the night. Food it bangin too (but not cheap).

    I'm DJing at a href="http://www.marvindc.com" target="_blank"1Marvin on Friday night. Funk, soul, Latin, breaks, etc.b,121Cool atmosphere. Crowd is mixed and more laid back before midnight. Gets younger and more dancefloor heavy later.b,121The outdoor deck is also popular (the DJ booth is unfortunately inside), but there's a more relaxed vibe than most of the places along the U Street corridor.b,121Really good food, but on the higher side for bistro fare. $11 for a 1/2 lb. burger.b,121b,121img src="http://www.djdmac.com/images/upstairsatmarvin6.jpg"1

    looks like i'll have plenty to do this weekend. the girl is new to d.c. too, so we'll have a bunch of fun czeching all of these places out.
