The Grandmaster Flash mix session in his kitchen doesn't have the original "Take Me To The Mardi Gras" beats right?b,121b,121b,121Also..Are the bonus segments any good?b,121b,121Overall is this worth even buying if you have the 1st edition on dvd..b,121b,121Any feedback is appreciated!

    Pretty sure the bonus DVD has a new beat in that scene cause paul simon wouldn't clear the mardi gras stuff. Btw, despite it being kinda wack they had to find a mardi gras sound alike for the scene, my peoples Illfonics did a good job with the impossible task of remaking one of the most iconic drumbreaks/scenes of all time....b,121b,121I havent seen the DVD to answer any of your other questions....

    font class="post"1b,121b,121Not unless it's a bootleg rip of the original VHS. The original version was never released on DVD. The original version is VHS only released by Pow Wow Productions. It was sold mail order only. Pow Wow productions used to run an ad in the classified ads section of "The Source" magazine in the first few issues.     Yep, still have that one and I'm glad I didn't replace it. Paul Simon is a fool, but then again the guys in Los Lobos know that too.

    font class="post"1b,121b,121I watched the new Wildstyle dvd over the weekend, and i agree, the replacement of the Mardi Gras doubles scene was done VERY well, it sounds like he is doing doubles with the new track 100%. Well done to your peoples!
