I can have it? Trade you for a James Brown record.b,121b,121I was pretty pleased to find an Eddie & the Movements 12" and the Yambu LP but then after walking away saw the first one was from 1987 and the second had a third, crap record in it.

Not as pretty as it would become, but fascinating to track the early development. b,121b,121Looked it up online and looks like a holy grail of graf books! b,121b,121h,121

font class="post"1b,121b,121that wendy & bonnie is indeed nice. a friend of mine gave me a copy for free, but the vinyl is broken. tried to glue it but have not been all that lucky. b,121anyway, lovely record.
I never see Bollywood records at the flea, but this week one of the regular sellers who always brings beat 12s and common LPs had a big box. I pulled a grip because I don't know too much about these and then he says he wants $8 a piece wouldn't cut a deal, fub1[/b]ck. So I took the ones I knew and left all the others behind.b,121img src="http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3162/2874885997_cd9be7a936.jpg"1b,121b,121They're all mint and in shrink, so I think they are US presses or something? Also, some have writing on the covers under the shrink leading me to believe they were re-sealed. Anyone come across anything like this? Pretty cool records either way.

font class="post"1b,121b,121Sounds like MY story - just substitute "boots" for "dress" and we're almost singing the same song.b,121b,121NO THREAD HIJACK...to whomever found that Funky Junction LP (a/k/a the Deep Purple tribute), good find...that is evidently Thin Lizzy plus a couple of other musicians under a pseudonym.

i'm most definitely recording it...seriously the whole record is amazing...fantastic production and songwriting. maybe two to three funk jams and the rest are just sweet soul of the highest order...similiar to five stairsteps or something.
