I stepped foot in a Sears the other day for the first time in maybe 25 years. Man, how are they even still in business with all of the Wal-Marts and Targets out there?

They are still trying to hang as a full-fledged department store, but the merchandise in many of those departments is looking bare-bones and b,121b,121I'm not hating on them, though. I actually had an odd pang of nostalgia for a mega store that isn't all that mega by today's standards.

  • LL Cool J clothing empire update:b,121b,121Evidently the next Project Runway will have the contestants designing a look for Mr. Cool J's clothing line. And yes, LL is making an appearance as a guest judge.b,121b,121I can't wait to see Tim Gunn say, "Make it work!"1for hiphop fashion. b,121b,121Considering the mix of designers left near the end of this season, I see train wreck... I was raised on craftsman, for the price it's hard to beat. especially compared to husky and kobalt. But once you get some real tools it's hard to go back to that cheap bullshit.

  • LL cool j will be on project runway next week for a "hip-hop fashion"1challenge or some shitb,121b,121b,121 img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/raw.gif" alt="" 21

I saw that shit too. I'm not mad L. At this point it seems like he's generally crossed over to that all-around celebrity/actor/musician status. I'll check for his hip-hop shit, but I'm not expecting him to bring it like back in the day, so if it's weak I'm not going to complain. b,121b,121If I hated on him for this Sears stuff, I'd have to hate on Queen Latifah for doing Cover Girl ads. I don't relate to L and Latifah as rappers anymore, so whatever. Get that loot. b,121b,121Although what is the deal with these celebrities and their fuckin clothing lines? Is that a trend that's going to die down any time soon? If you need a hobby to occupy your time, go help out in Africa or something.
