  • word? i heard otherwise, but i would still like to see it. i used to think they could do no wrong... until that intolerable cruelty crap.

  • its more of a black comedy, a lot lighter then "no country" - malkovich has some great lines....

font class="post"1b,121b,121I'm hearing good things which is good because the trailer looks like shit.

  • I am checking for this; it may get me to the movie theater for the 2nd time this year.

  • Entertaining. Worth the cost of the ticket but won't be regarded as one of their best films. Much better than those back to back turds Intolerable Cruelty and Lady Killers.

  • i thought it was great!! creepy, dark, funny, and a lot of amazing facial expressions!!! b,121b,121and you could definitely call it a hatchet job!!b,121 img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/headz.gif" alt="" /1

font class="post"1b,121b,121Evidently. I liked Burn a lot, but it doesn't hold a candle to TBL. I'd be fine never watching BAR again, but if you throw in TBL and I'm in the area, count me in.

this was great, and I don't generally jock the Coens as hard as some. If this were a first film from some unknown director, it would be getting way more attention and accolades. b,121b,121that said, if it were someone's first film, it wouldn't have the cast that it has... and much (but far from all) of the entertainment value comes from the likeable, high-profile cast.

I was disappointed. It had some funny moments, but overall was simply not rewarding.

  • The Big Lebowski is a classic. I watch that movie once a year. Burn was decent, I enjoyed it but don't need to see it again.
