    I didn't see the VMAs so this is my first exposure to it and, inviting teh clown as I am, I don't absolutely hate it. It's not really my thing but once I got over expecting it to be a rap song it's not too bad.b,121b,121It's got a real old house sound to it with it's hook and, clown away again please, I would expect it to sell very well in Europe at least where the market for music like this is still pretty massive and where Kanye has crossed over from the rap market to the pop market already. b,121b,121He's going to need to sort out the levelling though first.

    Touche.b,121b,121Giving it a second listen now with the benefit of being properly awake and the mastering is horrible, the singing is far from the best and the whole thing needs polishing but I still can't entirely hate on this track.b,121b,121It helps if I don't imagine Kanye slapping himself on the back the whole time he's recording it though. A taint of smugness certainly doesn't help.

Aside from the 808, EVERY single aspect of the song sounds awful. His auto singing, the drums and claps...even the piano sounds bad. Just a complete train wreck of music and production. b,121b,121This seems like it's a joke...

    oh my god. this is embarassing.b,121this sounds like a horrible demo that I'd try to keep from getting out to the public, like the time someone got ahold of an unfinished Brittany Spears track and posted it on the internet. It was like comedy gold for radio stations.

    Listened to the song about 10 minutes ago. Didn't like it. It's been stuck in my head ever since. It's definitely catchy. It'll definitely blow up. Especially with the right video (of which I'm sure the planning is already under way).
