Last night my wife and I were up in Hamburg, New Jersey for a memorial dinner in honor of my uncle who passed away last year. His daughter (my cousin) is married to a New York City fireman and he was up there with three or four guys from his firehouse which is in LIttle Italy. I was talking to one of them about what I did (I own a record store) and he mentioned that he had been one of the first responders to Heath Ledger's apartment in Soho when Ledger OD'ed in January. Besides a drum kit Ledger apparently had quite a large record collection. No word on titles. Wonder if they've had the estate sale already? Am I morbid?

    Am I morbid?

    Yes you are.

If I was the family, I would wait for The Dark Knight release in July

    That's some sick info dude.

I watched 10 Things I Hate About You in Oz the day he died with this dude's roommate and her crying ladyfriends.

Needless to say we scored big time hahahaha.

He didn't have a ton of records actually, but what he had was good stuff, he had really good taste in music and he was very involved in music projects with a small company called the Masses, and privately funded several projects in LA including a friends band, Edward Sharp and the Magnetic Zeros. Very nice guy, very interested in the realness.

    1. My favorite [viet] sandwich spot is next to that firehouse.

    2. I was in an interesting convo last night about some chick who called the tattoo shop my friend works at about whether or not ledger got tattooed there, and yes he did. Weird fans.
