English language help needed (NRR)

I translated a short story into English for a photography book, and I'd need some help with the language from an AE speaker. Glorified proof-reading, I guess. It's not too long; four pages, 1850 words. It shouldn't be too much work. And besides, the story isn't half bad... I just want to make the language a bit more natural and idiomatic, and get rid of any awkward expressions. It would be great if you like to read and/or have experience in this sort of thing, but that's not a must, if it were, I wouldn't be asking this on Soulstrut. I also might need a little help with some captions.I'm doing this as a favor and for the experience, so I'm getting very little money out of this, but I'm willing to paypal a very modest sum to whoever that can help me...PM me for extra information.
