Just wanted to sit down and APPRECIATE this beautiful masterpiece of an album. Goin Back, Wasn't born to follow, Tribal Gathering, Dolphins smile... So many good tracks. And Space odyssey is a killer finale as well.Who's with me?

There's a mono edition? You learn something every day.

Saw Easy Rider again recently, and thought about the fact that Wasn't born to follow is played in its entirety twice in the movie... Someone really dug that song!

I like this one but it's not as good as Younger Than Yesterday.

if you are listening to it on a solid-state amp, you are still soft.

Some of the most acid-dripping lead guitar ever on a major label LP.

Since a lot of hard-rock bands with acidic lead guitarists recorded for major labels, that's not such a big distinction.

I've always thought a strong case could be made for Roger McGuinn being the founder of the uni-bomber look.
