Whatup folks!Resonance Records is a brand new jazz record label based in Los Angeles. We're a non-profit, so that means the music comes first. Our mission is to support talented jazz artists, including up-and-coming musicians and seasoned veterans.Anyway, we just released our first set of albums:Gene Harris - Live in London[/b]Recorded in 1996. No introduction needed...Andreas Oberg - My Favorite Guitars[/b]Oberg is an amazing young guitarist from Sweden. His new album features compositions by other guitar greats (Wes Montgomery, George Benson, Pat Metheny, Django Reinhardt etc) along with some of his own compositions.John Beasley - Letter to Herbie[/b]Beasley has played and recorded with Miles Davis, Steely Dan, James Brown, Queen Latifah, Chaka Khan just to name a few. He's joined by Roy Hargrove and Christian McBride on this album.Mike Garson - Conversations With My Family[/b]Garson is best known as David Bowie's keyboard player for over 35 years.
