Who has replaced a 1200 pop up bulb themselves?

Dude at the turntbable shoppe wanted $50 to replace a pop up bulb on my 1200's...I'm sure that's a fair price, but if it's an easy fix I'll do it myself.Anybody ever done it?How did it go?School me.

i broke the trigger switch that turns the bulb on/off. the tech was pretty pissed i did that. haha.

it's a real pain the ass... even friends of mine who are Frickin' handymen HATE doing that...

either pay the 50 or leave em burnt out like everyone else does...

Burnt out bulbs are definite OG status. Mine both still work.

dude, cell phones are the new "lights" for djing in the clurb. They seem to be burnt out at a few places I've djed and I just pulled out my celly and lit up some science.

Still using the SL's I bought in '89...both lights still work
