I was on YouTube just a few minutes ago, looking for some vintage early to mid 70's concert/tv clips from the Isley Brothers and Kool & The Gang, and neither group had any clips from that time period I noticed recently a old tv clip for the O'Jay's "For The Love Of Money" and a appearence of Herbie Hancock from SNL were taken down..There's still lot's of good clips on YouTube, but how long will it be before ALL the good shit is gone.By the way,did anyone watch the rerun of SOUL TRAIN today on WGN?Classic Chaka Khan and Billy Preston performancesI'm glad they showed something from the early 70's today, because lately it's been re-runs of the souless, unfunky disco era 77-78

Chaka & Billy, huh? I'm guessing it was from around '74-'75...these WGN reruns don't seem to go any earlier...

aint no "lately," seems like its always been like that
"Hello Stranger" is like the greatest song ever.
she is playing here in a few weeks, here is the poster I made for the show(I do the flyers for this particular club):
Some of the best YT clips I've found lately are by Evie Sands:
The trick is finding "live" singing. That's what makes this one so good,
like !!!The Beat!!! clips.
Not live, but a cool "video"
probably my top youtube of all time
what is this?
interesting (although i couldnt call it soul, but good nonetheless)
