This thread reminds me about this one night we ended up at bar broadway. This pub is usally the last stop of the night as its open pretty much 24/7. They had a jukebox and my mate thought it would put on a few songs to save our strained ears from having to listen to smashing pumkins or whatever other shit was been played. One of the songs he selected was Sade. Just as it came on the bouncer went over to the jukebox and yanked out the power cable. We were like WTF? guess he wasn't a Sade fan. We took that as our cue to leave.

i really like 'turn my back on you,' play that one more
I run that one out now and again. The Heff's Mix is particularly good. I used to play the Neptunes mix of "By Your Side" as an end-of-nighter quite a bit, and the Lazy Dog mix works well in a modern house set.

That KDJ remix kills all the others
I could do with hearing this if anyone has an mp3?
I'm not sure if this is the kind of club music you're asking for, but this is some of the stuff I played on our last clubnight. Mind you, this is just the music on 12". I still play a lot of funk & soul 45' between:
Romanowski "Srtrudel Strut" Amp Fiddler "hope" Collen & Web "Jamaican Jerc Off" Mr. Scruff "get your mov on" Ghost "Basic Instinct" Natrural Self RMX Moxie "Can't get it right" Me & You "Snieker Thief" Kenny & Horne "Us on fire" Scafe Face "Persian Shadow" Nas "Get down" Red astaire "in the jungle" Danny Breaks "Duck Rock" Treva Whateva "Singalong" Six Cups Of Rebel "Tempered" Tony October "Satisfaction Twice" Flow Dynamics "Bossa for Bebo" Lack of Afro Remix Alice Russel "Fly in the Hand" DJ Vadim Rmx Jugoe "Ohio City" Dj Vadim "Got to rock" K54 "cuba" Red Astaire "Tito" Antibalas "Che Che Cole makossa" Cut Chemist "Coast to coast" Beat Conductor "4 to the floor" Free The Robots "Jazzhole" and a lot more...
I'm glad that we can rock a party with above 300 people without playing t-pain and cheesy house music. I really thank god for our open minded guests.

By Your Side (Naked Music Remix)
The other tunes I've got that have been given any kind of "Dance" treatment just don't work. Cheesy 4/4 bass sound and what-have-you.
She still looks good though. I know she was repping white Golf shoes to school back in 1972. POWER MOVE.
