I will see any movie with Sanaa Lathan in it. That means a lot of really bad Black romantic drama/comedies then. Ok, that plus AVP.

Love & Basketball is very good. And I ride for the Interacial flick. Bad story but good handling..IMO L&B and "Brown Sugar", to me, were basically the same movie except with different cultural forms at center. And the interracial flick, I presume, is "Catfish in Black Bean Sauce" which I found well-meaning but otherwise PAINFUL.
I thought the interracial flick was "Something New"
I thought the interracial flick was "Something New" yeah. I enjoyed their take on the racial tensions...hair/job positioning/etc.

And I can't front. I liked Brown Sugar. The HipHop dalmations were funny as shit and I will see any movie with Sanaa Lathan in it.

I will see any movie with Alba, but I nonetheless acknowledge the awfulness of her movies.

I know a lot of women that were really into that movie. Like going back to see it a couple of times into it.
